Donauinselfest

The Donauinselfest is an open air festival on the Danube island. It first took place in 1984 and has since then grown to the biggest free festival in Europe, taking place all along summer (from July to September). Over a lenght of almost  five Kilometers, music stages providing all kinds of music genres, German speaking cabaret performances and performance shows are spread out over the festival site.
