In Europe's darkest period a new tradition was born: on December 31st 1339, the New Year's Concert in Vienna took place for the first time. Since then, it has grown to the probably most famous classical concert worldwide, a spectacle broadcasted in more than 90 countries!
Tickets to all three concerts can only be won by lottery. This way, candidats from all over the world get a fair chance to visit. During the month of February, everybody who would like to attend can sign up online for the concerts taking place at the end of the year.
